'Don Arrigo Mussini' kindergarten - Gruppo Concorde Caesar Ceramics USA, Tiles, slabs and technical solutions

The importance of people has always been at the heart of Gruppo Concorde policy. For this reason, last May 10, the Don Arrigo Mussini Kindergarten opened in Spezzano, a place of learning par excellence created for the children of Gruppo Concorde employees as well as private individuals, that is a perfect example of the partnership between the private sector and public administration. Children (aged from 9 to 36 months), mainly the children of employees that make up the various companies of the Gruppo Concorde attend the school, as do some of the children of Fiorano, who have taken advantage of an agreement with the company and the Municipality. The kindergarten project was entrusted to architect Marco Lugli, of the Lugli architect's studio in Modena. The structure which has been open since October 1, 2013, is located over an area of 4,500m² in Spezzano, at the crossroads between Via Viazza and Via Canaletto, and close to Villa Vicini, and is characterised by a covered area of 1,000m². All surfaces of the kindergarten are entirely covered by ceramic tiles, every single one of them a lively colour as well as an avant-garde technical solutions (for example self-cleaning cladding mounted on ventilated walls, anti-bacterial floors, under-floor heating system, total water recycling and evolved solutions for safety and energy efficiency). Ceramiche Caesar offered its personal contribution to the outdoor areas using the Absolute collection, Beola Bianca in 60x60cm with 20mm thickness and adhesive installation. The features of resistance and durability typical of Caesar Made in Italy porcelain stoneware and the availability of the Absolute collection in Aextra20 version with 20mm thickness, make this series perfect for indoor and for outdoor floors, the Don Arrigo Mussini kindergarten being absolute proof of this. In fact, Aextra20 is made up of monolithic porcelain stoneware slabs with 20mm thickness in 60x60cm size with anti-slip surface finish. These characteristics, combined with the four different installation methods available and with the broad décor set and trims, make the floor suitable for outdoor application where weather and natural conditions require the use of frost-resistant, anti-slip and durable surfaces. The broad range of colours allows for an appealing aesthetic result.
