In 2020 Caesar came to Turin to breathe new life into a historic hotel in a prestigious building in the Piedmontese capital. The Hotel Concord, inthe city centre, is a modern and elegant 4-star hotel located on Via Lagrange, one of Turin's most famous streets. In 2014 the business changed management and, with it, got a new look.
The Concord renovation project was entrusted to architect Luigi Andrea Tafuri, who boasts an extensive experience in this type of intervention and has also carried out several works for the City of Turin. Together with Tafuri, Caesar offered his stylistic and material contribution, especially for some of the rooms on the third floor and the ground floor. The Fiorano Modenese based company has brought all its Made in Italy material know-how into play, through its extensive catalogue of porcelain tile collections, capable of providing the perfect balance between technique and aesthetics.
Caesar has rethought the style of the bathrooms on the third floor, focusing on the elegance and brilliance of the marble-effect porcelain tiles from the Anima collection. Used in Apuan Gold and Dark Emperador, in sizes 60x120 and 60x60 cm respectively, Anima played on the strong contrast between light and dark, offering an unmistakable mood to a room full of ever-changing details.
The next job takes us straight into the bathrooms of the suites, the most fascinating rooms in the Concord. These luxurious and modern spaces also benefited from Caesar's touch: for the occasion, the Anima Ever collections were used, in the Sage Green colour variant, and the Statuario Venato shade of Anima in the 120x120 cm size: a large size that strongly contributes to highlighting the material inspiration of Caesar's collections. Once again, it is the timeless elegance of marble that dominates the exclusive spaces of the suite bathrooms, translated with particular brilliance in the delicate nuances of green and white. A new combination that brings the strong material tradition of natural stone to a concept of modernity that is well suited to the Hotel Concord, itself a spokesman for hospitality and wellbeing in an urban context with strong historical appeal.
An important ceramic contribution was also made to the furnishing of the bar area on the ground floor. Enhancing the original dark tones of the room, Caesar has intervened on the flooring and renewed its concept with the Relate Flame collection, in the dark variant of Mine, which offers the visual burning effects of for an aesthetic enrichment of the room with a very personal character.
Relate Flame transmits an exclusive and refined ambience designed in pure American style which, with its long bar counter, brings to mind the clubs of the 1960s and 1970s overseas. Thanks to the large windows that decorate the location, the evening light illuminates the counter and the surrounding area, leaving the tables in a comfortable half-light that immerses the guests in the perfect evening atmosphere.
The beauty of the final project reflects the quality of Caesar's overall supply, a company that once again confirms itself as an excellent partner for living, thanks to a combination of functionality, efficiency and first-class aesthetics.
