Epicerie et Cie Caesar Ceramics USA, Tiles, slabs and technical solutions

In Dijon, the historical capital of Burgundy, the passion for culture, food & wine dictates the pace of numerous tours, guiding visitors in a discovery of the fine vines and the different architectural styles that stretch from the Gothic to the Art Deco period.

The heart of the old city centre is home to Place Émile Zola, today a popular meeting place for tourists and visitors in search of a friendly, relaxed location, characterised by an almost bucolic setting complete with benches, fountains and renovated façades.

Among the many restaurants that line the pretty square, L’Epicerie et Cie is a favourite choice for those keen to explore the French culinary tradition, serving refined dishes with simple presentation and a convivial atmosphere. The essence of this place is reflected in the details and furnishings which conjure up the France of the 1950s, when the eaterie was a grocery store, representing a sort of history trip from past to present, immersed in the irresistible appeal of time. In this context, Caesar represented the ideal partner for the restaurant’s renovation, providing flooring solutions that combine beauty and practicality.

With Trace, in the colour Mint produced in the 60x60 cm size and in the Mint Deco 30x30 cm version, Caesar took on board the fundamental importance of metal in the history of the buildings and monuments of the past, offering a contemporary take on its use through modern ceramic tiles. The result is the chance to characterise spaces with a unique, refined look, where the colour of burnished metal and the matt finish of concrete are key elements of that history and that innovation which, long ago, imagined and then built our present.
